Trump Lies, Kamala Lies, Politicians Lie. Don’t Act Shocked.

I do not see any meaningful difference between Trump’s “AI crowd” claim and Kamala’s calling Biden a “racist”. Do you?

It’s called “mudslinging”.

Politicians do it all the time and we should all be desensitized to it by now.

These lies are not an attack on your good name or your dignity. They are not an affront to your person. They are merely evidence that politicians lie. And we knew this before Trump. We knew it before “democrats”.

Next.

We All Know Kamala Won’t Win

Pretty cool that my Walz prediction was accurate, right? It wasn’t difficult. I just had to concentrate and focus real hard on my gut feeling. Then I wrote it down. Voila!

The next question that occurred to me is, “What else do we all know as we head to election day?”

I turned off the TV, stopped perusing online chatter, silenced my phone, put down the books, and focused real hard on only my gut feeling.

We all know that no half-Black, half-Indian (dot not feather) woman (hot or not) is going to be elected President of the United States of America. We know it.

We don’t rationally desire it. It’s not like anyone actually believes that Blacks (half or more), Indians (dot or feather), or women (emotionally unstable though they be) are incapable of successfully leading a nation. It’s just that there are many other variables at play in these things and after considering them all, the truth is Kamala isn’t going to get many votes.

And we all know it.

Shapiro didn’t get selected. Everyone knows why. (Left hates Israel.)

Biden dropped out. Everyone knows why. (Dying.)

Trump got nominated. Everyone knows why. (“Fuck the swamp.”)

Vance was selected. Everyone knows why. (Theil is likeable.)

And Kamala won’t win. Everyone knows why. (No one likes her.)

Another reason, more rational, more evidence-based. She has not received a single vote to get where she is. Can you imagine it? No votes for President in 2020. No votes for President in 2024. And then somehow votes? It’s like the opposite of how voting works. You need votes to win. And she hasn’t ever received any.

Mark your calendars. Kamala loses in a landslide. I said it here on August 9th, 2024.

Today Is The Greatest Day For MAGA Since the Escalator

You’ve been sweatin’ it, I know. Or at least that’s what I felt like the media wanted me to believe.

But with Walz as VP, it is time to shower and go on vacation. I wouldn’t even take the inconvenience to vote anymore. Yes, that’s how in the bag this election just became for Trump.

For those not paying attention, the MAGA folks’ thoughts on how Kamala of all people was chosen include “the dems know they lost this one, so they offer her up as sacrifice and will be back in ‘28 with a real candidate.”

Walz fits this bill perfectly too. My guess is they’ll have two folks in ‘28 that will be billed as “moderate”.

One cautionary note: Walz is a bit of a siren, in the Homer sense. Something in his speech inspires Whites to think, “Oh, good. Someone who knows.” And by knows they of course mean, someone who will stop racial integration, all immigration, financial regulation, and public intoxication. And then they will have their little slice of heaven on earth.

How else can you explain the Nordic Minnesotans turning a blind on to the full on invasion of their state by Somalia? It certainly isn’t happening because these Vikings (Skol!!) desire it.

Nope. The Minnesotans are stupid (sorry, friends but heartiness in cold weather only scores so many points). Somalis are more stupid, and add the double sins of lazy and Old Testament horny. And you, faithful reader, need to guard yourself. Walz may look like a duck and sound like a duck, but, like the Sirens of old, he is only interested in destruction.

Reaction to Today’s Obituaries

In this version of a recuring theme, I want to call your attention to each person’s “best”.

I mean that in each obituary there is usually one truth which sneaks past the editor, one ridiculous claim that isn’t about the deceased—but the writer. Some, if we’re lucky, have more than one.

“Among his many achievements were a state basketball championship at G- High School and a state football championship at W- High School.”

-unnnnnnfortunately, you can’t take it with you.

“He and his family also spent summers growing gladiola for sale to commercial florists and at farmers markets in (city).”

-must’ve been some flowers for commercial florists to take notice.

“She was the beautiful blonde cheerleader and [her husband, E-], the handsome basketball star.” And, “She studied His Holy Word and lived in His Way always.”

-pretty much everything a little tow head girl could ask for in life, no?

“Beginning in 1982 they lived in homes in (city) that P- spent his time improving, until 1977.”

“He was a voracious reader; reading every book in the public library during his elementary and high school years.”

-middle school must’ve been when he experimented with hard drugs though obviously he ultimately decided against the practice.

“Following an intense loss at the B- Invitational Golf Tournament, he decided against a professional golf career.”

-Oh. Interesting. So that’s why. Hmm. Quitter.

(Same man) “He was open-minded and did not see distinctions of class, education, or wealth.”

-lots of Black friends probably.

“They specialized in high quality and custom hardwood lumber for the local building industry.”

-too bad commercial buyers weren’t interested. That would’ve been something to write about.

“C- strived for morality and enjoyed the unique qualities of everyone she met.”

-is that how pro-lifers are described today?

“J- poured his heart and love of writing into this book which can be found on http://www.amazon.com.”

“In 1972, she graduated valedictorian from S- high school.”

-set. For. Life.

“A beautiful woman of deep faith and exceptional grace, she excelled in many endeavors in her life.”

-what can I say? Rotator cuff injury took me out in 8th grade. Downhill from there.

(Same lady.) “At the time of her selection (three years ahead of her peers) she was one of the youngest officers in the Air Force selected for promotion to full colonel.”

(One more from this David-hearted mortal.) “L- lived the life that she wanted to have.”

-lucky!!

“S- was an astute businesswoman who helped build a successful business that still exists today.”

-ahh. Finally. In the only meaningful sense of the word, one lucky dead woman found happiness. Or as Aristotle called it, “Eudaimonia.” Flourishing.

If I was President Trump Answering the Three Shorty Interviewers

“Mr. President, I want to start by addressing the elephant in the room, sir. A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today.

“You have pushed false claims about some of your rivals, from Nikki Haley to former President Barack Obama saying that they were not born in the United States, which is not true.

“You have told four congresswoman who were American citizens to go back to where they came from.

“You have used words like animal and rabbit to describe black district attorneys.

“You attacked black journalists, calling them a loser, saying the questions that they ask are, quote, ‘stupid and racist’. You have had dinner with a white supremacist at your Mar-a-Lago resort.

“So my question, sir, now that you are asking black supporters to vote for you, ‘Why should black voters trust you after you have used language like that?’”

****

(Again, that takes a second to reproduce. You’re welcome.)

Below is how I would “handle” these three women. I offer two rhetorical paths.

****

Thank you for the question. Elephant in the room? You suggest the elephant in the room is that I ‘have been painted as a racist, but think that I need black votes?’

I think the elephant in the room is there are no black men up here. Where are the men? Three black women? I have heard the blacks are a matriarchy, but until just this moment I didn’t ever really consider how true it is.

Scan the audience

Gentlemen? This is how you want to play the game?

****

OR

****

Thank you for the question. Elephant in the room.

That expression describes the idea that there can be some huge topic on everyone’s minds that each person simultaneously avoids chatting about.

You suggest the hidden topic is that I am a racist but need black votes to win.

I don’t think the fact that I need black votes to win is the elephant. And my opponents have thrown so much mud my way, social and legal, that I think we would all agree that it would be silly to make time to defend against every smear. So for the same reason I won’t defend myself to you today either—especially because that wasn’t your question.

But I want to answer your question about needing black votes.

Can anyone tell me, just shout it out, where USA ranks on total black population among all countries?

No? We’re somewhere around 10th. Outside of Africa, we’re 2nd.

But nobody knew that.

Is the elephant that I need black voters? Or is the elephant that black voters need me?

But that’s still not the real question you want answered.

Your real question is, “What are you going to do for us”?

The answer is “charter schools”. Thomas Sowell, a national treasure, has a great book, Charter Schools and Their Enemies, that has affected me greatly.

I know that education is not an immediate fix to immediate problems, by which I mean mostly money problems. So my answer probably seems like a disappointing answer. But you know that education is the ultimate fix to problems. ‘Folks who know better, do better.’ That’s not just a great quote by great black preachers. It is also a universal truth.

I have to get going now. Have your people call my people. I’d love to do this again sometime.

The Current Spirit of This Election Is Disheartening for MAGA

It’s true. But it also means nothing for MAGA.

Like you, I have my “where I was story” from election night in 2016.

I was delivering pizza. I remember that I couldn’t refresh the NY Times site often enough. Trump was winning. Not just winning, but doing what the news had said was not going to happen. I loved it, not him, but the fact that all the liars had to eat it.

How does the media recover? It doesn’t.

My gut feels disgusted at the welcomed rise of Kamala.

But there remains the only relevant question.

“Is it possible that every media outlet is lying?”

And the answer is resoundingly, “Absolutely.”

Point/Counterpoint: Will the Influx of Africans to the West Work? (4)

Yes.

(By work, of course, we mean “rule of law” holding.

By fail, of course, we mean “might makes right” resuming.)

It occurs to me that the well of knowledge in the West—given its unique and rich tradition of valuing literacy—is deeper than any living African immigrant, and his total unfamiliarity with literacy, can dig in one lifetime. However, my conscience will not let the matter settle there.

The African is not without hope. The main lesson of literacy, the main point of the written record, is to insist that we tell the truth.

Will rule of law hold? Yes. If the Africans adopt our manifestly dominant tradition of valuing honesty, then it will hold.

A Trumpian Troll

Still need more ways to discover precisely who the Left are? Troll them. Or as the Black preachers say, “When you throw a stick at dogs, the one who whelps got hit.”

All I want to know is if Trump wrote the troll beforehand or came up with it on the spot.

“Won’t have to vote again.” So funny. So many possible (dark?) meanings.

Is he implying the Second Coming is imminent? Is he implying the end of democracy and the beginning of dictatorship as the Left wet dreams?

Hard to say, no?

It surely can’t mean that the supposedly unmotivated Christian non-voters will be able to go back to their unmotivated-not-voting after this election because the ship will have been so firmly righted by Trump over the intervening years that the morons who might again vote Left in 2028 will not, by virtue of their being incapable of blocking the beautiful light of prosperous peace (the only kind) that he will have brought, a light which consequently will end the Left’s resistance to life-giving truth.

Science Teachers: Teach the Truth

I was at an FBO (airport gas station—incidentally, this means very, very wealthy people are frequently around. I assure you, they do not inspire). Anyhow, I was there awaiting some maintenance on the helicopter for an afternoon the other day and I couldn’t help but notice that on the TV was a silly show where a “Science is fun!” guest teacher was visiting an inner city school to pep up the otherwise dry material.

It caught my attention, as you might expect, faithful reader, because the topic of my guided reading through the Great Books of the Western World is “Foundations of Math and Science”. So when I hear, “Newton”, “Force”, “Inertia”, and certain other keywords, I am always interested to take a closer look.

The particular concept the energetic guest was bringing to the kids was inertia. His whole game was to demonstrate inertia by yanking the tablecloth from under some dishes as they remain in place.

He says, “Inertia: the tendency of an object to stay at rest until a force acts upon it.”

The definition isn’t troubling. The troubling thing is…can you name it with me? On three. One, two, three: Everything in the universe is demonstrating it!

Whether this zany, cooler-than-your-teacher (and actually, kinda disrespectful) man shows up to a school and says the words “learn” “newton” “inertia”, or not, inertia is demonstrated by not only every object in a student’s immediate observation, the student’s body itself, but also by every object in the entirety of the universe!

But the man adds, “Isaac Newton would be so proud that you’re learning!!”

And there is the whopper. Isaac Newton would be proud if kids were learning (they’re not), but he would not be proud that a man claiming to be an expert is teaching kids that he is demonstrating inertia.

With me?

Inertia isn’t “demonstrated”. Inertia is.

“Pete, you’re being way too sensitive here.”

Am I?

****

Why does learning have to be fun?

From what I have read, the math and science greats do not seem to have had much fun while attempting to communicate their ideas. Moreover, many of their lives were fairly difficult—as they were battling commonly held conceptions held by nearly each and every fellow man.

Instead of “fun”, I say let’s teach the truth to kids.

Straight from the man.

Definition III from Isaac Newton’s Mathematical Principle of Natural Philosophy.

****

The vis insita, or innate force of matter, is a power of resisting, by which every body, as much as in it lies, continues in its present state, whether it be of rest, or of moving uniformly forwards in a right line.

This force is always proportional to the body whose force it is and differs nothing from the inactivity of the mass, but in our manner of conceiving it. A body, from the inert nature of matter, is not without difficulty put out of its state of rest or motion. Upon which account, this vis insita may, by a most significant name, be called inertia (vis inertio) or force of inactivity. But a body only exerts this force when another force, impressed upon it, endeavors to change its condition; and the exercise of this force may be considered as both resistance and impulse; it is resistance so far as the body, for maintaining its present state, opposes the force impressed; it is impulse so far as the body, by not easily giving way to the impressed force of another, endeavors to change the state of that other. Resistance is usually ascribed to bodies at rest, and impulse to those in motion; but motion and rest, as commonly conceived, are only relatively distinguished; nor are those bodies always truly at rest, which commonly are taken to be so.

(My underline.)

****

If that doesn’t do it for ya, if you still don’t understand what Newton means by the word inertia, then the only sentiment I may offer as a last ditch effort is this.

Imagine a man moving while inside a moving vehicle. Got it? (It doesn’t have to be a car with a man reaching back to grab a snack from the back seat, or a pirate ship approaching a storm while the captain paces to and fro by the helm, or an airplane with a man squeezing down the aisle after a bathroom break. It can be any vehicle, any person, but the vehicle and the person inside must be moving.)

That is the Newtonian picture of the universe as described at the end of that definition. Because, Newton says, the vehicle we’re in (which you didn’t know we’re in—and he doesn’t mean merely planet Earth) is moving; there is no “rest” in the plain sense.

Inertia, then, is the conception (defensible by math and experimentation) that all bodies resist. It’s an action. Or a force. To resist, there must be something to resist. (Period.)

And I’m out.
