Name Change Coming Soon
I’ve been thinking it’s time to more accurately entitle this blog of mine. So a name change (just superficial—website will stay the same) from Captain’s Log to something else is coming soon.
The point of this post is to say, “Don’t be alarmed. It is still me. I just feel like I need to admit that I’m hijacking the mood when I drop the lure of being an interesting pilot/Captain who can also write well and has a unique perspective, but, really, I am just a blogger who blogs fearlessly—which means writes well.”
More to follow.
You must have already humbled yourself to the Lord and have been lifted up. I’m eager to see what the Captain has planned. 🙂

What does the Captain have in mind? I have to tell you that my son has mustered out of the Army, had to truck his gear from Utah to Ft. Carson, Colorado, where he was told he owed the Army $18,000 if the gear wasn’t all there. Thank heavens I’m a pack rat – for all those years and all those deployments, we managed to save all but $900 of that gear. A miracle.

Something very creative and inspiring and uncannily provocative, if I can bring my A game.
That’s fairly unbelievable that they keep track. I am currently using two of my issued “FR-fire resistant” winter jackets until I figure out who to ask for new ones with the company’s branding or whatnot. I felt lucky to still have them until discovering a bill may have got lost in the mail…ha.

There was some stuff in that load of equipment he would have liked to keep – the winter camo from Afghanistan, for example. Looking forward to your new title!
