As I contemplate Obama’s position that alleged Somali nationals who have served fraudulently in Congress are immune due to their position, I cannot refrain from making this titular observation.

We knew nothing about Obama before he was elected. Consequently, we are constantly surprised to learn what he believes.

Trump was so well-known, in the reputation-sense, before he was elected, that we are constantly only reminded about what he believes.

Lesson (not that it needs stating): Determine before voting whether you prefer security or insecurity in government.
