Sickosaleomania
Out doing some last and only minute Christmas shopping. I couldn’t help but notice that in the line ahead was some poor old lady with this disease. Fortunately, for me, the inability to purchase something not on sale isn’t contagious. Or unfortunately.
Definitely fortunately! These people with their shopping carts loaded down while I wait patiently with 2 or 3 items do drive me nuts. I suspect there are hoarders hidden among them. But it’s the season and I practice patience!’
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and H- !

If the sale items are things that I use on a regular basis (coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, etc.) then bring it on!
The checkout person always seems shocked when I place 8 bags of coffee beans or 20 cans of soup or 5 bottles of fabric softener or 10 rolls of Christmas gift wrapping paper, etc on the belt. Hey, it’s on sale and most of what I purchase in large quantities has a long shelf life. So if you happen to be behind me at the checkout lane…check your email or play solitaire on your smartphone. Happy New Year! I am all aglow about what January 2, 2018 will bring in the way of post holiday sale items.
