Ben Shapiro’s “Authoritarian Joy” Piece Misses the Point

He’s a busy man. I get it. But he missed the point.

We don’t need someone to clarify to Americans that joy is an emotion and not policy. We don’t need someone to clarify that appeals to emotion have been used by bad guys in the past.

Instead, we need some event to prove that government isn’t the answer to our problems.

When you listen to DNC speeches, even if you only lend one ear, the content is chock full of the idea that government can solve problems.

Ben Shapiro disagrees. I disagree.

But he and I have different understandings of where Kamala and the DNC err in their thinking.

He thinks their error is being inconsistent.

I think their error is theft.

The DNC is advocating (besides the actual theft its administration commits today) that the government (schmucks built no different than you and I) should be able to rob us as they tell us “We’re here to help!”

I am not ready to revolt. I can’t imagine how that would work. For now, I rest assured that Trump has this one in the bag. And while he is as guilty as the DNC of robbing us, he doesn’t make it hard for me to teach my kids that government cannot solve your problems.

Night 2: A Black Woman Wore a Wig

And she talked about her mom.

And she can’t do math.

In other words, night 2 of the DNC was just another Tuesday night.

Oh, and the man who all conspiracy theorists (or hurt white men) believe was actually running the country for the last 3+ years (see the YouTube clip I sent you) said Tim Walz knows “who he (Tim) is”. That’s certainly not hedging an endorsement.

Trump wins.

The Harris Honeymoon is the Equivalent to the Toilet Paper Run

And you’re all suckers for buying 168 triple-rolls in the back alley of the Costco parking lot for $1000.

****

Trump has had this election in the bag since the 2020 loss—likely since Harris was named VP by Biden.

Some facts to review:

1. She has not yet received one vote toward the office in her life.

2. “Hype” is the media’s day job, while our job is to mock the suckers who fall for it.

3. No full-BIPOC, half-Jamaican, half-Indian, former-VP-whose-boss-had-to-drop-out-because-he-learned-from-friends-he-was-dying is going to be president of the United States of America, especially in the year 2024 and when Trump is her opponent. It’s such a silly idea. Admit it. (And we’re not racist or sexist or whatever for telling the truth.)

Trump Lies, Kamala Lies, Politicians Lie. Don’t Act Shocked.

I do not see any meaningful difference between Trump’s “AI crowd” claim and Kamala’s calling Biden a “racist”. Do you?

It’s called “mudslinging”.

Politicians do it all the time and we should all be desensitized to it by now.

These lies are not an attack on your good name or your dignity. They are not an affront to your person. They are merely evidence that politicians lie. And we knew this before Trump. We knew it before “democrats”.

We All Know Kamala Won’t Win

Pretty cool that my Walz prediction was accurate, right? It wasn’t difficult. I just had to concentrate and focus real hard on my gut feeling. Then I wrote it down. Voila!

The next question that occurred to me is, “What else do we all know as we head to election day?”

I turned off the TV, stopped perusing online chatter, silenced my phone, put down the books, and focused real hard on only my gut feeling.

We all know that no half-Black, half-Indian (dot not feather) woman (hot or not) is going to be elected President of the United States of America. We know it.

We don’t rationally desire it. It’s not like anyone actually believes that Blacks (half or more), Indians (dot or feather), or women (emotionally unstable though they be) are incapable of successfully leading a nation. It’s just that there are many other variables at play in these things and after considering them all, the truth is Kamala isn’t going to get many votes.

And we all know it.

Shapiro didn’t get selected. Everyone knows why. (Left hates Israel.)

Biden dropped out. Everyone knows why. (Dying.)

Trump got nominated. Everyone knows why. (“Fuck the swamp.”)

Vance was selected. Everyone knows why. (Theil is likeable.)

And Kamala won’t win. Everyone knows why. (No one likes her.)

Another reason, more rational, more evidence-based. She has not received a single vote to get where she is. Can you imagine it? No votes for President in 2020. No votes for President in 2024. And then somehow votes? It’s like the opposite of how voting works. You need votes to win. And she hasn’t ever received any.

Mark your calendars. Kamala loses in a landslide. I said it here on August 9th, 2024.

Today Is The Greatest Day For MAGA Since the Escalator

You’ve been sweatin’ it, I know. Or at least that’s what I felt like the media wanted me to believe.

But with Walz as VP, it is time to shower and go on vacation. I wouldn’t even take the inconvenience to vote anymore. Yes, that’s how in the bag this election just became for Trump.

For those not paying attention, the MAGA folks’ thoughts on how Kamala of all people was chosen include “the dems know they lost this one, so they offer her up as sacrifice and will be back in ‘28 with a real candidate.”

Walz fits this bill perfectly too. My guess is they’ll have two folks in ‘28 that will be billed as “moderate”.

One cautionary note: Walz is a bit of a siren, in the Homer sense. Something in his speech inspires Whites to think, “Oh, good. Someone who knows.” And by knows they of course mean, someone who will stop racial integration, all immigration, financial regulation, and public intoxication. And then they will have their little slice of heaven on earth.

How else can you explain the Nordic Minnesotans turning a blind on to the full on invasion of their state by Somalia? It certainly isn’t happening because these Vikings (Skol!!) desire it.

Nope. The Minnesotans are stupid (sorry, friends but heartiness in cold weather only scores so many points). Somalis are more stupid, and add the double sins of lazy and Old Testament horny. And you, faithful reader, need to guard yourself. Walz may look like a duck and sound like a duck, but, like the Sirens of old, he is only interested in destruction.

The Current Spirit of This Election Is Disheartening for MAGA

It’s true. But it also means nothing for MAGA.

Like you, I have my “where I was story” from election night in 2016.

I was delivering pizza. I remember that I couldn’t refresh the NY Times site often enough. Trump was winning. Not just winning, but doing what the news had said was not going to happen. I loved it, not him, but the fact that all the liars had to eat it.

How does the media recover? It doesn’t.

My gut feels disgusted at the welcomed rise of Kamala.

But there remains the only relevant question.

“Is it possible that every media outlet is lying?”

And the answer is resoundingly, “Absolutely.”

A Trumpian Troll

Still need more ways to discover precisely who the Left are? Troll them. Or as the Black preachers say, “When you throw a stick at dogs, the one who whelps got hit.”

All I want to know is if Trump wrote the troll beforehand or came up with it on the spot.

“Won’t have to vote again.” So funny. So many possible (dark?) meanings.

Is he implying the Second Coming is imminent? Is he implying the end of democracy and the beginning of dictatorship as the Left wet dreams?

Hard to say, no?

It surely can’t mean that the supposedly unmotivated Christian non-voters will be able to go back to their unmotivated-not-voting after this election because the ship will have been so firmly righted by Trump over the intervening years that the morons who might again vote Left in 2028 will not, by virtue of their being incapable of blocking the beautiful light of prosperous peace (the only kind) that he will have brought, a light which consequently will end the Left’s resistance to life-giving truth.

Some Uncommonly Spoken, if Commonly Held, Thoughts on Passing Scene

I attend a Black Baptist church regularly. To write about Blacks makes me feel weird, because I probably would be asked to leave my beloved church if anyone ever read my thoughts here posted. But the Blacks don’t read blogs anymore than the Whites do. So nothing to fear.

The Blacks will vote for Kamala. It’s like a “thing” for them. I don’t really believe it is intentional, or even thought through and reasoned. I guess I mean that for them it is instinctive. Sure, Kamala is “half”, whatever that means. And, sure, Obama just did his thing, and he is “half”, whatever that means. But that’s not the reason I know they will vote for her. They don’t have “reasoning” in the classic sense. They have instinct. They need to feel united and so will vote in the way that makes them confident that each Black person they see knows they are in the same boat, even if it happens to be sinking. “Together!”

We have seen this since Black lunch tables. I am not suggesting something new. I am just writing it out. For fun.

I am constantly courted by conspiracy theorists, White and Black. I don’t know why. It doesn’t seem like the proportions are right. I am just a dad working a job and yet I can’t seem to shake, after the weather talk, discovering that some possible new friend believes some really ridiculous shtuff about how humans do “society”.

And they never have any evidence. Zero evidence.

The Democrats are scrambling. Don’t be fooled into thinking they are simply implementing some perfect plan—they aren’t. It doesn’t even make sense to hate them so much while you secretly believe they are better at life than you. Unless you’re just plain envious. Which would be weird. Cuz they’re paving the road to Hell, as you and I know.

Trump is something else. I am reminded of the time when it hit me that four men—myself, my attorney, my ex-wife’s attorney, and a mediator—had jumped, for one short afternoon, into the maelstrom whirlpool that is my ex-wife. One squalid woman somehow commandeered the attention of four men, to the total tune of about $750 per hour, plus whatever price you can put on my leisure time. As soon as the realization landed, I thought, “Fuck this.”

In the sour mood of Ike Clanton while losing to Doc Holiday, “That 12 hands in a row, Holiday, sonnuvaBitch, nobody’s that lucky,” I called it quits. What a waste of resources and time and life.

But Trump stirs the world pot.

Don’t be fooled into the idea that someone can explain it. It is inexplicable.
