Result of My Attempt to Opt-Out of Free Lunch
It’s not possible. Entire state of Colorado has “free lunch”. This was the result of public vote.

When I read your original post, my first thought was, ‘He’s never going to be able to opt out.” This seems like another way to make people and institutions reliant on the government.

Just worked in education for 30 years and have lives through many of the changes. Covid fast-tracked a lot of things and moved decisions further away from the ones who would have made the best decisions. I honor you for noticing and attempting to make a change for the ones you love.
