The answer should be 36, gotten by interpreting “11” as 1 + 1 and “22” as 2 + 2 before multiplying. Then 3 + 3 is 6 and 6*6 = 36. It took me too long, though. Mensa would expect you to do about 100 of these ditties in 10 minutes.
36 – took me a few seconds. But I’m not bragging. I got a copy of the Mensa exam many years ago and tore my hair out for several weeks. Boy, did I feel like an idiot.
